Diwali is the festival of lights. Every Hindu celebrates this festival in their own way. New cloths, different kinds of sweets and food items are the specialty of their festival. But there are few people who cannot celebrate this festival due to lack of money. Our initiative is to help these kind of peoples, so that they can also enjoy celebrating these festivals. We cannot forgot the story of Chh. Shahu Maharaj. Once a day before Diwali Chh. Shahu Maharaj saw one poor boy and asked him what was he doing there. Boy told that he was taking lunch for his father, who works in the Palace. When Maharaj saw that there was only little amount of food wrapped in a cloth, he had tears in his eyes. He was worried that, in this region, even at the time of festival people are sacrifying their need with less food. After seeing all this, he immediately gave an order to distribute food and cloth to poor people.
We already know about this story for doing something like this, this story was really inspiration for us. We decided that 2 days before every Diwali, we all will give 5 Kg food to 500 families who are having financial crisis and give cloths to poor people. Considering the social condition we have started this program.
So in this year on 2017 this program was organized by ( and also inaugurated by)some respected peoples like Hon. Rajesh Kshirsagar, Hon, Hasina Faras , Shri. Mahesh Jadhav, Shri. Sunil Dhaigude, Shri. Jaysingrao Mane, Shri Rajendra Dakare, Shri. Shirish Kanerkar, Shri Girish Shah, Dr. Shishir Mirgunde in presence of the Trusty of Annachatra Hon. Raju Mevekari Sir.
